In the print dialog, set scale to 100% or Actual size — not “Fit to page”. Why this matters

When you need a blank PDF

  • Filling forms or signing: some upload portals only accept PDF, and a blank page is a quick starting point.
  • Annotating on a tablet in apps like GoodNotes, Notability or Acrobat.
  • Testing printers and print settings without wasting ink.
  • Padding a document with an empty page so double-sided printing lines up.
  • A clean sheet for drawing or handwriting when lines get in the way.

Options

  • Paper: US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) or A4 (210 × 297 mm).
  • Orientation: portrait or landscape.
  • Pages: from 1 to 50 identical blank pages in one file.
  • Name and date line, if you are handing pages out.

Is it really blank?

Yes. The page contains no text, watermark, or hidden layer. The document title is set to “Blank PDF” so it is easy to find in your downloads. If you turn on the size check ruler, a small inch and centimetre scale is drawn at the bottom; it is off by default.
